Welcome to the Riffelseehütte in the Pitztal in the Tyrol at 2293m!

We are an Alpine Club hut belonging to the German Alpine Club (DAV) / Frankfurt am Main section, and we are open for you both summer and winter! In addition to a mountain restaurant, we also offer overnight accommodation (rooms and dormitories).

Thanks to our location right in the heart of the ski area, you can start your skiing adventure directly from the hut. From our mountain hut, you can also embark on numerous ski tours and routes that will take you well above 3.000 meters. Cross-country skiing, winter hiking, and snowshoeing around the romantic Rifflsee lake are also possible.

In summer, enjoy the tranquility of the picturesque Rifflsee lake – savor the breathtaking sunrise before embarking on your hike or summit tour. The Riffelseehütte is situated between the Taschachhaus and the Kaunergrathütte and is ideally suited as a stopover for multi-day hut-to-hut tours in the Ötztal Alps!
